Lumintop FW1A Pro Flashlight

 

FW1A Pro is a small yet ultra high-intensity flashlight that upgrades from the previous model FW1A. By adopting a high power Cree XHP50.2 cool white LED, it delivers a max 3500 lumens output and a 220 meters beam distance by a single 18650 Li-ion battery. It uses the Anduril firmware and settings, and the stainless electronic bottom switch controls various functions including smooth ramping, stepped mode setting, strobe, etc. It is an essential compact flashlight for activities including outdoor, everyday carry, etc.

The FW3A Becomes a thrower!

Don't let the FW1A confuse you, this is the excellent FW3A design but with a single LED, thus the "1" in the name. It has a different head that will fit all the FW3A tubes and extenders and uses an 18650 cell. The head is longer to allow a deep orange-peel reflector instead of the molded optics.

Instead of three LEDs the FW1A has one, a CREE XHP50.2 running 3500 lumens.and 11360 candela. (The 3-LED FW3A runs typically 2800 lumens and 10,000 candela.)

In use, it really throws compared to the FW3A. The specs may not say so, but it turns the FW3A power into a fairly tight beam. It runs Anduril firmware, which I really like.

This is one of my favorite lights. I honestly have about 400 lights surrounding me. If I need a magnetic base for work, I carry (now) the Olight Baton 3. If not, I must have Anduril so the first light I'll pick up is one of these FW3A's or this FW1A.
