For better heat insulation, a double-walled construction is used for the barrel. When released from this position, it will immediately turn off by itself. Note:
It will get smoother and easier after a short use period. Since the slider is mechanical construction (No magnet), The inner core is made of all aluminum. The required break-in time is longer. In order to reduce the resistance during the running-in period, you may choose to reduce the internal runner resistance without O-ring if desired. Please just give it a little use time.

The Odd Light ain't so Odd

Me has the Blue shiny one. Is it Ti ? It's really purdy. Acebeam quality shows. The big 'ol clip rests comfortably in the hand and reinforces the grip and click.
The actual light itself is standard fare; low to really bright. Is it an EDC for me? Nope. Am I happy to have it?
Abolutely! Acebeam gets an A+ for a fun, good looking flashlight-of-a-gadget. :-)

I bought two ... one for myself and another for my wife. We love it. Fits easily in our pockets and produces quite a bright spot when on full power. And we really like the USB rechargeable battery, although after nearly three weeks of use, we haven't had to charge it yet. Highly recommended for use as a small, personal flashlight with enough umph to even use outdoors for trail-walking and the like. An a great choice for an emergency light!
