I have had this headlamp about 1 and a half years. I use my headlamp probably 18 hours a week. This thing is a beast. I bought a additional battery (Molicel 3500mAh) to be able to swap batteries when one dies. I currently use an external 18650 battery charger (xtar SC1). The only complaint that I have is that the proprietary tail cap charger is garbage. When I stopped using the charger that came with it, thw charger would only charge the battery alittle bit. For my line of work it is definitely worth getting and battery and a external charger. I have dropped this and had this on my head in super hot attics and still works perfectly.
I included a photo of my mobile charging. Head strap has also seen a lot of use with no issues. 5 stars

Solidly Built, Beautiful Color

This headlamp is sweet. It's nice and bright and floody when I take it out on evening runs, but still has a beautiful neutral white color. The build quality feels great, it has a matte finish that feels nice and grippy in the hand. The pocket clip isn't my favorite, but it does the job. My favorite is how soft and dim the moonlight mode is. Works great as a bedtable nightlight and barely drains the battery.

Best Headlamp

When it comes to best headlamps Armytek Wizard C2 Nichia goes up against the Zebralight H600Fd. This one’s easily when bough from Killzone. Search Flashlight group on Re-edit for details.

Great headlamp

Awesome light. The high CRI light this thing produces is unreal. The flood is nice & wide. Really low moonlight mode & the high/turbo modes are plenty of light. Photos show lowest & highest setting ~ 6’ from white subway tile. The headband seems well built & fits good. It may not seem impressive in my photos but when I use it outside it is definitely impressive.

I would easily recommend this headlamp.

Killzone had great shipping time.

Solid

Great light, great headband.

Two critiques:

I don't think the documentation mentioned charging. The meanings of which symbols are lit up and the color of the symbols weren't obvious to me, and I didn't know you had to do a partial turn of the cap to start charging. Looking at pictures online, it seems like previous version(s) had a little graphic on the tail to let you know.

Also, the tail magnet is strong enough that it can catch on things. Great for holding itself up, not so convenient for working in confined, metallic spaces.

Lovely emitter, though a bit unwieldy and expensive

Good things:
-Fantastic, even diffusion of light. This is maybe the best spill I've ever seen on a headlamp. There is no defined hotspot of any size or shape, and the overall spill is perfectly sized to encompass your field of view when working with your hands.
-Exceptional color rendering (though, to the eye, it seems about equal to my 519 lights).
-The headband is comfortable, and holds the light well.
-The button isn't mushy, and has a nice, positive (but not hard to press) click.

Okay things:
-Fit and finish is perfectly fine, but nothing mind-blowing. It's clearly one of the better made lights coming out of China, but it's clearly from China (the Armytek website seems to obfuscate this, and the "Made in China" sticker on the box makes me suspect they only put it on the box for compliance with US laws for lights destined to the US).

Could be better things:
-It's a bit unwieldy on the head. It's not the absolute smallest 18650 headlamp on the planet, and it's not the lightest, so you can feel it as you move your head around. The bulkiness is pretty much par for the course for an 18650 headlamp, so I won't knock this for the overall size, and it's far from the heaviest or bulkiest option available. They have a scale graphic on the size of the box with a hand. I have XL hands, and so that graphic must be with XXL hands if it's accurate. It about half an inch longer in my XL hands that this picture would suggest. The bulk does seem to come in exchange for some robustness (at least compared to my smaller Skilhunt H04), so that's maybe not a deal breaker.
-You have to unscrew the base 1/4 turn before charging it. This is just weird, and the Skilhunt magnetic charger really outshines this one in ease of use.
-The UI is a bit goofy. I have to frequently check the manual to remember how to cycle between modes. Oddly, the "Advanced" mode is more intuitive than the standard mode, at least for me (Hold for firefly, one click for memory, two clicks for standard, three clicks for turbo, four clicks for turbo). You unscrew the base 1/4 turn, hold the button, and tighten it to switch modes. It's all very clunky, whereas I can figure out most of my other headlamps in a few seconds, I had to sit down and really configure and play with this one, and after using anything else, I end up having to pull the instructions back out, and then I have to figure out if I'm in standard or advanced mode, again. That's fine if this is the only light you own, or are ever going to own, but if you own other lights, switching back to this is kind of frustrating.

Overall:
A pretty good headlamp. I think it's a bit expensive for what it is (it is quite expensive), but if you really want arguably the best diffused flood light of any high CRI headlamp, and you're willing to accept a slightly larger format, this is a great one.
I think if you're looking for a light to use while working on cars or in an environment where you might damage your light, this would be a good choice. I generally don't damage headlamps while I'm wearing them (as I instinctively keep my head safe), so I prefer my smaller Skilhunt H150 (or even H04) headlamp, which has slightly less floody, equally high CRI light with a smaller form factor - at about half the price.
I don't regret buying this (and I might even get another), I just think it's much more of a niche light than people realize, and maybe not actually that great of a headlamp (though, I strongly disprefer ANY 18650 or larger lights as headlamps). If you like larger headlamps, bump my review up to 4 stars to compensate for my personal bias.
