Fenix LD15R Flashlight
The new Fenix LD15R is the compact, handy right-angle flashlight you want by your side, not just in emergencies but also for repair work, outdoor activities, and daily use. Powered by one 16340 rechargeable Li-ion battery or a cold-resistant CR123A battery (sold separately), this little device has many benefits with a total light output of 500 lumens and an 85-meter beam distance. Four white light levels and three red modes can be controlled via the switch conveniently located on its head. The Fenix LD15R also has Micro USB charging, battery level indication, and a two-way body clip, so it'll be easy to find your way at night or in the dark!

Fenix LD15R Light Operation
ON/OFF
Press and hold the top switch on the rechargeable LD15R for 0.5 seconds to turn on the light on the last used output with the light switched off.
With the light turned on, press and hold the top switch for 0.5 seconds to turn off the light.
Fenix LD15R Output Selection
With the rechargeable LD15R switched onto white light mode, single-click the top switch to cycle through Low→Med→High→Turbo.
With the rechargeable LD15R switched onto red light mode, single-click the top switch to cycle through Red→Signal Light→SOS.
Fenix LD15R Mode Switching
Press and hold the top switch on the rechargeable LD15R while in the white light mode for 1.2 seconds to enter red light mode.
Press and hold the top switch on the rechargeable LD15R while in the red light mode for 1.2 seconds to enter white light mode.
Fenix LD15R Battery level Indication
With the new LD15R switched off, single-click the top switch. The battery level indicator will display the battery status for 3 seconds.
Green constant on: saturated, 100% – 85%
Green flashes: sufficient, 85% – 50%
Red constant on: poor, 50% – 25%
Red flashes: critical, 25% – 1%
Note: There is no indication when CR123A battery is used.
Fenix LD15R Charging
Charging this rechargeable led light is easy! Plug the charging cable's USB port into a power supply. Uncover the light's anti-dust cap and put the micro USB charging cable to the light's charging port. If the battery level indicator shows red, the flashlight is charging. When it is completely charged, the indicator turns solid green. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to charge the battery. After charging, take out the charging cable and put back the anti-dust cap to protect the device from dust and other unwanted objects. When charging, you can only use the light at low output. It will also take longer to charge. If you store the flashlight, remember to charge the battery after four months to optimize its performance.
Fenix LD15R Battery Replacement
Unscrew the tail cap to insert the battery with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the tail cap back onto the light.
Time-limited Output Downshifting
The light will accumulate a lot of heat when working at the Turbo output level. The light is programmed to downshift to 200 Lumens to prevent high surface temperature after working for 5 minutes.
Intelligent Memory Circuit
The light memorizes the last selected brightness level on white light mode. When turned on again, the previously used brightness level will be recalled.
Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level of the rechargeable battery drops below a preset level, the flashlight is programmed to step down to a lower brightness level until low output is reached. When this happens in Low output level, the battery level indicator will display red, and the flashlight blinks every three seconds to remind you to replace the battery. To ensure normal use, the flashlight will work until the battery runs out.
Note: This only works with the rechargeable 16340 Li-ion battery.
Fenix LD15R Use & Maintenance
You should observe some use and maintenance tips to enjoy better performance. They include:
- Fenix's recommendation is if you store the flashlight for a long time, remove the battery. Otherwise, the battery or flashlight may be damaged.
- Remove the tail cap halfway to remove the battery. This ensures accidental activation doesn't take place.
- You should only use the manufacturer's recommended battery.
- Don't attempt to remove the sealed head because this can damage the light or void your warranty.
- Using quality batteries featuring circuit protection minimizes explosion or combustion.
- The O-ring depreciates with long-term use. Replace it with the spare O-ring included or another approved spare to keep a quality water seal.
- Use rubbing alcohol and cotton swabs to clean battery contacts. This provides better illumination and improved performance.
Magnetic Tail
The magnetic tail provides hands-free operation because you can mount the flashlight on metallic surfaces. This gives you an all-around illumination, and your hands don't suffer from fatigue.
Two-way Body Clip
This clip allows you to attach the flashlight in upward and downward directions. This makes it easy to access the flashlight at any time. You can attach the device to your backpack, belt, rucksack, or keys easily.

Fenix's Warnings
- It is prohibited to use a rechargeable lithium-ion battery without a protection board.
- You can use the non-rechargeable CR123A battery, but charging is not allowed.

- This device uses high-intensity lighting that can lead to eye damages. You should not direct the light to anyone's eyes.
